The Hematology Division offers consultation, diagnostic
and management of both inpatients and outpatients with acute and chronic
hematologic disorders. Comprehensive services are available for the full
spectrum of blood disorders including acute and chronic leukemia's, myelodysplastic
syndromes, myeloma, amyloidosis, malignant tumors involving the bone marrow,
disorders leading to pancytopenia, ITP and TTP, hepatosplenomegaly and
adenopathy and other anemias including anemias of the Pacific Rim, homeostatic
and coagulation disorders leading to eighter hemorrhage or thrombosis,
arterial and venous thromboembolism and the hypercoagulable state. Outpatient
chemotherapy and transfusion services are also available. |
