The Department of Ophthalmology offers complete eye care
through general and subspecialty clinics to adults and children. Diagnostic
services include ophthalmologic photography, fluorescein angiography, visual
fields, contrast sensitivity and glare testing, corneal pachymetry, corneal
topography, computerized nerve fiber layer analyzer, potential acuity measurements,
electrophysiology and ultrasonography, and ophthalmic pathology. The department
performs surgery for cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, corneal disease,
vitreoretinal disease, lid and orbital disease and ocular trauma, as well
as all refractive surgical procedures including Lasik, photorefractive
keratectomy (PRK), and incisional Keratotomies. |
